Norway's CADAVER Split Up
September 8, 2004Norwegian technical death metallers CADAVER have "decided to split up after 15 years of underground service and four studio albums," according to a posting on the group's official web site. "We would like to thank our fans for all these years and all the people who supported us. Thank you all!!!!"
Formed in 1989, CADAVER released two albums ("Hallucinating Anxiety" and "In Pains") before disbanding in 1993. Reformed (and renamed CADAVER INC.) in 1999, the band issued their third album, "Discipline", in 2001 and toured the U.S. with MORBID ANGEL. The group eventually dropped "Inc." from their name and released their fourth full-length effort, "Necrosis", this past spring through Candlelight Records.
